.: Jim Johnson, W6SC, (ex WA6SII)
On June 30th, 2011, Jim will celebrate being a
licensed ham operator for 50 years. Primarily a CW operator enjoying DXing
and a few contests, Jim has been active in ham radio for nearly all 50
years, the exceptions being the college and military service years. Having
a modest station at home near Silicon Valley in CA, Jim enjoys operating at
stations such as KH6LC, where he can be on the "other side" of a pileup.
